About the United Fall Fest

2023 September 16th 3PM – 10PM

The United Fall Fest is hosted by the Congregational United Church of Christ in St. Charles as a part of their Mission commitment to charitably serve the community and world. The 2023 United Fall Fest is coming up on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 3:00-10:00 p.m.  Each year, all proceeds go to charity and this year’s Grant Recipient is Mutual Ground, a domestic violence and substance abuse shelter, and resource center for families in need.

So what can one expect from this crowd-pleasing event? Food, friendly, family, and fun! The CUCC Barbecue extraordinaires (Pit Crew) prep all night long to deliver tender, tangy, delicious barbecue, sure to help you find your way from the parking lot to the grills! The legendary classic car show will satisfy every historian and car aficionado. Walk through the rows of historic cars while fantasizing about your dream car. It’s the perfect way to walk off your delicious barbecue meal!

For the kids, there is everything from inflatables, to games, to face painting, to a hayride, to ice cream! This event is a kid’s dream! While the kids enjoy the inflatables, the adults can relax with an ice-cold adult beverage from the beer and wine tent. Yup, there is mouth-watering barbecue AND ice-cold beer and wine. As you enjoy the numerous activities and great food, you’re treated to fantastic, live music! And we cannot forget, at the end of the night, after the outdoor movie, there is a grand finale, The United Fall Fest Fireworks!  Just wait until you and your kids see these fireworks, they’re the real deal! We know how important our generous local sponsors and our local organizations are and because of them, we can give back to our community.

We hope you will join us on September 16th for a day filled with fun, food, and fellowship and make it a tradition every year! “United Fall Fest is like a big family reunion,” says Fest volunteer Mark Molloy. “You see friends, you see neighbors, you see people you know from around town. There’s really nothing else like it.” As always at CUCC: Everyone, everyone, everyone is welcome!

Put on by the Congregational United Church of Christ in St. Charles, the United Fall Fest was born in 2011, in conjunction with the Fox Mill Community and the Village of Campton Hills, to be a community event that is open to all and to raise money for charity.  We served about 700 people and BBQ a whole hog.

2021 is our 10th year having the United Fall Fest and we are expecting to about 2500 people.  Bags, and Kids corner continue to grow and the Pit crew keeps outdoing itself adding chicken quarters this year and expecting to smoke over 1600lbs of meet and was probably the biggest one yet!

The 2022 United Fall Fest had some changes this year.  First the biggest change was the date.  The Fest was pushed back a week to not compete with Labor Day Week vacations and WOW!  It was the Largest Fest Yet. The sliced to order brisket station drew a line of their own and NEW Brisket Tacos were a hit people were lining up for them even before the late night menu started.

The festival raised over $10,000 for Tri-City Family Services

Save the Date, September 16th, 2023! With the help of you and our sponsors, we look forward to supporting multiple charities and this year’s Grant Recipient, Mutual Ground. Mutual Ground is a Domestic Violence and Substance Abuse Shelter for Women and Families in the Fox Valley, Illinois. Thank you for helping us support this deserving organization!
